What is Lake Worth Playhouse?
The Lake Worth Playhouse is a historic community theater on Lake Avenue, housed in the former Oakley Theatre, the oldest building on the Art Deco Society of Palm Beach County's register. It presents musicals, plays, film series and live music year-round.

About Lake Worth Playhouse
Built in the 1920s as a vaudeville and movie house, the Oakley Theatre survived hurricanes and decades of change before becoming the Lake Worth Playhouse. Today its main stage hosts musicals and plays, while a smaller stage presents films, concerts and special events.
It is also famous locally for ghost stories — some call it one of the most haunted buildings in South Florida.
